One Long Week

Last Friday, we woke up to find our dog, Koda, completely paralyzed on the back half of his body. The week started off long as we contemplated whether Koda would have to be put down. Now, just eight days later, his steroidal therapy has him walking and using the restroom on his own. He walks like a drunk, but a happy one at that. We are grateful he is doing well as we look ahead to this new phase in Koda’s life. As always, this boy is facing hardship with his stoic, indomitable, and sometimes silly character. Proud of you, Koda Bear.
