Fall 2026 Begins!

It’s September 22, 2026, and fall officially begins this evening at 8:04 PM EST.

I’ve been waiting for the new season, especially the cooler temperatures, after a blistering summer in North Carolina. Last night, nature answered back with a huge thunderstorm that has temperatures finally cooling from highs in the 90s to the 70s and 80s. We also have projected lows for sub-60 degree weather this week. This is exciting.

For as long as humans have been around, the changing of the seasons has been an integral part of our internal time clock. I hope you take a little time today to give thanks for summer and the memories it brought, and to welcome Fall 2026.
